Dr.But Jesus is generous: He wants to turn your gifts into gold. ![]() We could lose the approval of our Master. What can we lose? All Christians may not hear "Well done, good and faithful servant" (see Matthew 25:21-23).Suffering well seems to be connected to reward (see Romans 8:17 Philippians 1:29). We get to sit with Him as an overcomer (see Revelation 3:21). Faithfulness in obscurity is precious to God (see Matthew 6:1-4). We are rewarded not for answering our call but for how we invested what God gave us. Every day is a loss or a gain: either it produces wood, hay, or stubble (things that will eventually be burned), or it produces gold, silver, and precious stones (things that will be left standing after the fire).Loving the unlovable (see Luke 6:27-36).Doing your job as unto the Lord (see Colossians 3:22-25).Hospitality to the less fortunate (see Luke 14:12-14).Financial generosity (see Matthew 6:19-21 Luke 21:1-4).Joyful acceptance of injustice done to us (see Matthew 5:11-12, 43-48).We will be evaluated by our attitudes and what we did with what God gave us.We must all appear, and we will all be revealed, honestly and with no excuses.In the presence of Jesus, all that will matter is the look on His face.Each person will be judged individually, according to what we have done, good or bad, from our second birth onward. ![]() This is not an angry judgment, but one of possible disappointment based on what we did or didnât do with what God gave us. ![]() No fact will be overlooked all will be known.
